There are many reasons to seek therapy. Everyone has unique needs and I will work with you to craft a plan for therapy that is effective for you.
Types of Therapy
I provide individual, group, and couples therapy for adults. Clients of all faiths, cultures, ethnic backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities are welcome. My focus is helping clients to process and work through problems involving depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger, loss, trauma, grief/loss, stress, and life transitions.
Therapeutic Approach
I utilize approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic theory, and Mindfulness. In my practice, clients are encouraged to consider treatment interventions involving their thoughts, emotions, background/family history, physical bodies, and spirituality. Throughout treatment, clients are empowered to reduce emotional pain, develop insight, accomplish goals, make positive changes, and create stronger relationships.
Initial Phone Consultation
I offer brief ten minute phone consultations prior to the first appointment. During this time we can assess whether or not I’m good fit for your therapeutic needs. You will also have the opportunity to express what brings you to seek therapy and ask questions about the therapeutic services I offer.
